Caught this over at Politics.ie, seems there was a bit of trouble outside the Central Bank on Dame Street a few days ago which was caught on camera by a tourist on one of the open top tours. The video itself is about a minute and a half long and essentially is about 25 or so young men outside the Dublin Citi Hotel where they used tables, chairs and anything they could get there hands on to beat the tar out of each other. As someone who lived not too far away from there recently, to be honest, this isn’t a sight I would claim to have seen often, or at all.
Were you within the vicinity when this happened? Does anyone know what this started over? I did laugh when a solitary panda wagon turns up and they all pretty much legged it into Temple Bar, though this couldn’t be described as a good news story for Dublin in any way.
